A character study developed for children's publishing: a small fox with a big love of books.
About this project
The character was built with a warm, textured rendering style — soft crayon-like strokes over a terracotta, cream and sage palette — so it sits naturally within a picture-book spread.
Expression, pose and setting were explored to give the character a repeatable personality: curious, gentle and a little mischievous, ready to carry a full story arc.
